Great article! I wholeheartedly support this process. It is actually something I have implemented in the past that I am sorely missing during COVID. It's tough to "shoulder check" when I can't simply walk over to the developer's desk to chat for a few minutes about a feature. A lot of people are suffering from Zoom fatigue which makes them wary of adding more meetings into their day.
